Sensory Integration Assessment & Treatment
Referral’s for children and/or adults who may have autism, attachment and/or motocordination difficulties related difficulties impacting upon sensory processing will be accepted.
Referrals can come directly from parents, CCG’s, NHS, schools and local authorities departments which could include: looked after children or adoption teams
The outcome of the combined assessment tools will inevitably guide the treatment for the child or adult which might include:
- ASI (Ayre’s sensory Integration) therapy
- Sensory-based strategies
- Sensory diet
- Emotional regulation
- Sensory ladders
Following assessment and/ or treatment a comprehensive report can be completed to evidence and underpin any EHCP recommendations that need to be implemented for the child.
Prices will be discussed prior to assessment
Funding can be acquired through a variety of sources;
- Health – CCG
- Education – LA
- ASF – adoption services fund
- Looked after children – LA
- EHCP needs – LA and CCG
- Private Insurance policies
- Some charities may subsidise
- Using awarded PIP
